The anticipated mixtape of the year has finally arrived. Roland Champaine, an independent singer/songwriter and Texas native debuts his collective piece of R&B art entitled Nostalgia. The mixtape combines classic R&B rhythmic and new-aged styles. “Nostalgia” tells a story of different emotions that individuals encounter in their lives as they attempt to understand themselves. The mixtape also touches on hot topics such as relationships, break-ups, drugs and sex.

The hit single “Forever” has gained notable recognition from the Houston, TX R&B scene. The track includes a smooth vibe with sensual ad-libs. “Forever” has been highly receptive, peaking at 35,000 plays in the first three weeks of release. “Nostalgia” also features a dynamic collaboration with independent West Coast Native rapper Freddy Inglewood entitled “Coming Down”. The track delivers a laid back funkadelic smooth west coast vibe infused with classic guitar instrumentals. Roland Champaine’s Nostalgia will soon become the fresh and iconic R&B mixtape to come out of the city of Houston.
